Sen. Patty Murray, D-Wash., added $50 million to the proposed fiscal 2011 Energy Department budget to fund the Hanford nuclear reservation in Washington state. Murray also wants to boost funding for the licensing of the Yucca Mountain project as the country's nuclear-waste repository.
