Iberdrola, GDF Suez, SSE, set up UK nuclear joint venture company

 NuGeneration Ltd, the UK joint venture between Iberdrola, GDF Suez, and Scottish and Southern Energy with plans to build up to 3.6 GW of new nuclear capacity in the UK, has now been fully established as a UK company, the partners said Monday.
The consortium has not announced a choice of reactor technology. The Westinghouse AP1000 and Areva EPR reactors are currently undergoing safety reviews by UK nuclear regulators.
