I have posted the second part of my essay on realpolitik, ethics and nuclear proliferation in Nuclear Green.

In this part I focus on the conflict between Indian national ambitions and the ethical goals the nonproliferation advocacy community.  It is unlikely that American policy as informed by the nonproliferation advocates will prevail if it conflicts with Indian national ambitions.  I argue that Indian national goals should be taken into account in any nuclear nonproliferation order. - Charles Barton
