EDF to Negotiate with China Guangdong on New Reactor Development in UK

EDF's engineering chief Herve Machenaud confirmed Wednesday that the French firm is in talks with China Guangdong Nuclear Power Group to potentially partner on reactor development in the UK.

EDF is preparing to build two EPR units each at the Hinkley Point and Sizewell B nuclear plants.
