2013 EIA Energy Conference
Keynote Speakers
The
U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) will hold its 2013 EIA Energy Conference June 17 and 18 at the JW Marriott in Washington, DC.
The EIA Energy Conference has become a premier forum for addressing
energy issues in the United States and around the world. This event will
bring together thought leaders from industry, government, and academia
to discuss current and future challenges facing domestic and
international energy markets and policymakers.
Session topics include:

- Renewable, Storage, and Grid Integration
- World Hydrocarbon Resources
- Energy Consumption and Building Efficiency
- Energy in the Americas
- Alternatives to Oil in Transportation
- U.S. Natural Gas Production Growth and its Implications
- Coal and Nuclear: World and Domestic Outlook
- U.S. Oil Production Growth and its Implications
- International Energy Statistics: Coverage and Quality
In the coming days, EIA will post additional information about the
2013 EIA Energy Conference, including additional topic session
participants, as well as a complete schedule for the Conference.
Our
2011 conference
was a great success, hosting more than 800 participants with
presentations and discussions featuring former U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency Administrator Lisa P. Jackson, National Economic
Council Director Gene Sperling, Shell Oil Company President Marvin Odum,
and many other distinguished guests. The annual conference attracts
U.S. and international attendees from government, industry, non-profits,
press, and academia.
This event provides a unique opportunity to meet and network with fellow energy experts and decision-makers.
