U.S. N-Plant Firm to Seek Damages from Mitsubishi Heavy
New York, June 7 (Jiji Press)--Southern California Edison Co.
said Friday it will seek damages from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd.
<7011> to help cover the costs of retiring two reactors at its San
Onofre nuclear power station.
The power firm decided to retire Units 2 and 3 at the power station near San Diego following a leak of water containing trace amounts of radioactive substance from a damaged tube inside a steam generator of Unit 3 made by Mitsubishi Heavy. 7011>
