NEA Signs Nuclear Cooperation Agreement With China

8 Nov (NucNet): The Paris-based Nuclear Energy
Agency and the China Atomic Energy Authority have signed a joint
declaration on cooperation in nuclear energy that will see them working
together in areas including nuclear safety, nuclear science, new reactor
designs, radiological protection and radioactive waste management.
The NEA said the agreement also provides for
collaboration on nuclear energy technology development, economic
