History of the TRIGA reactor

Scientific American has posted a most interesting article on the development of the TRIGA research reactor in the 1950s. The writer says the opportunity for nuclear plant innovation is at hand, and the more groups that provide input, the better. "... let a thousand flowers bloom. And then we can pick the most beautiful."
