The 2014 AAAS Annual Meeting will bring thousands of leading scientists, engineers, educators, policymakers, and journalists to Chicago. One of the most widely respected general science gatherings, attendees learn and discuss recent developments in science and technology.

Scientific Program

The full scientific program is now available. Featuring:
  • Plenary lectures from world-renowned speakers like actor Alan Alda and former U.S. Energy Secretary Steven Chu
  • Four in-depth seminars on big data; communicating science; food sustainability; and innovation, entrepreneurship, and the economy
  • International exhibition hall with exhibitors offering the latest products and services, poster sessions, and Family Science Days

Poster Judges

Serving as a poster judge is an excellent opportunity to attend the 2014 AAAS Annual Meeting in Chicago at a deeply discounted registration rate ($110) and also connect with other attendees and judges.
The Student Poster Competition will take place on 15 February 2014. Qualified Ph.D. professors, scientists, engineers, and other professionals will meet with participants to discuss their research, providing valuable feedback and advice. The judges will then gather and pick the winning posters.
Networking is a large benefit of the AAAS Annual Meeting, a globally-recognized scientific gathering. Poster judges have the opportunity to connect with other judges and access the community of meeting attendees who work in diverse areas of science and technology around the world.
