TCS of Sanmen Unit 1 Meets Water Requirements

Sanmen Unit 1 closed cooling water system (TCS)could meet cooling water requirements of 22 users, as temporary measures of hydrogen cooler finished restoring. Thus far TCS of Sanmen is available for the whole plant.

Sanmen TCS finished the start of the first medium voltage motor on April 18th, and began the flushing of the system two days later.

The flushing is divided into gravity and pump power flushing. The pump power flushing is conducted by injecting demineralized water while discharging it, during which foreign bodies are frequently being removed via dismantling inlet strainer of the pump. On June 15th, the turbidity of the water quality was tested below 1ppm, meeting water requirements of the users. Milestone of this system was finished 15 days in advance, provided supporting for the smooth start of circulating water pump.
