Nuclear Matters, a bipartisan industry group funded by Exelon, is warning that economic and regulatory conditions threaten the nuclear power sector, which for years has provided about 20 percent of U.S. electricity capacity. But in 2013, utilities announced the retirement of five reactors. Former Indiana Senator Evan Bayh, co-chair of Nuclear Matters, will make the case for nuclear energy.
