Joint Select Task Force on Nuclear Energy Washington NE Task Force

Ladies and Gentlemen,

This afternoon, the Washington State Joint Legislative Task Force will hold a hearing in the Tri-Cities to discuss the potential use of nuclear energy in Washington State. I have listed the agenda (all times Pacific Time Zone) below and wanted to let you know that the hearing will also be live-tweeted by Energy Northwest (@EnergyNorthwest), the ANS-Eastern Washington Local Section (@ANS-EWS) and me (@lscheele).

We expect a strong showing from the nuclear community to highlight the benefits of nuclear energy. We would appreciate any support the social media community might provide.

Please note that the ANS Eastern Washington Section expects to be added to the Local Community Leaders comment section below.

I should add: they may be live streaming the hearing. The website address for today's hearing is:

They originally thought that couldn't happen for an off-site meeting, but it looks like the equipment is here and set up.

Best,
Laura Scheele
