Hi all,
I wanted to bring to everyone’s attention that the
IAEA in Vienna is currently advertising two communications related
positions. I know this list is the not usual means for recruiting, but
these kinds of opportunities don’t present themselves
every day and I don’t want any of you to miss the boat. Will has given
me his permission to pass this along.
The first is the position of Section Head/Spokesperson
in the Media, Multimedia and Public Outreach Section within the Office
of Public Information and Communication. Details can be read here:
https://recruitment.iaea.org/ vacancies/p/2014/2014_131.html . The incumbent will be the principle liaison with the media and managing press campaigns as well as providing interviews.
The second position is a Communication Officer
in the Resource Mobilization Section within the Division of Programme
Action for Cancer Therapy. The incumbent will be responsible for the
Division’s communication needs and coordinate
an enhanced thematic approach with regard to cancer-related activities.
Details are here:
https://recruitment.iaea.org/ vacancies/p/2014/2014_133.html
Communications related positions come up
periodically throughout the IAEA and if anyone is interested in being
made aware of these jobs, you can sign up for our job alerts here:
http://international.anl.gov/ careers.html.
If you are interested in applying for either of
these positions, please let me know. We coordinate with the U.S. Mission
to the IAEA and can provide status updates that you wouldn’t receive if
you applied without informing us. Secondly,
our office has a wealth of information about applying, interviewing,
working and living in Vienna, and the IAEA in general, so don’t hesitate
to contact me.
Feel free to pass the email and my contact details to anyone you know who might be interested.
Thanks!
Steve
