Senator Markey to DoE: What About the James Doyle Case?: Senator Edward Markey asked Ernest Moniz, Secretary of Energy, to expedite the investigation into the firing of James Doyle, a nonproliferation specialists who was employed at Los Alamos National Laboratory. Doyle was fired after he published an analysis that was critical of U.S. nuclear weapons policy. The Doyle case generated significant controversy among his colleagues and others concerned with nuclear security policy; in response, DoE said it had initiated an Inspector General review of the case, but there has been no known follow-up to date. http://www.fas.org/blogs/secrecy/2014/11/markey-doyle/
