South Africa's civilian nuclear power training program was officially launched in Beijing

Nuclear Power Technology (SNPTC) held a basic training program classes
at Tsinghua University with fifty representatives from South African
nuclear power departments.
Wang Binghua, Chairman of SNPTC opened the training by declaring "South Africa is one of the main target markets for the CAP1400 reactor. (…) Our National energy authority attaches great importance to the business model developed with the South African government, a coordinated industry and research centers, multi-level depth exchanges and training. We are committed to share our experience in the nuclear power of third generation and to promote the localization of the nuclear power industry”.
At the meeting, SNPTC and the South African Nuclear Energy Nuclear Group signed a "CAP1400 project management cooperation agreement." Under the agreement, South Africa will send a project manager involved throughout China large-scale advanced PWR major projects CAP1400 demonstration projects, marking South Africa from a technical cooperation project management training extended to further expand areas of cooperation.
South Africa's civilian nuclear power training program is divided into basic training, professional training, and in-service training for a period of 2 years.
Basic training was officially launched on April 22, 2015 by the National Nuclear Power Joint Nuclear Safety Center, Tsinghua University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, and other units, covering third-generation nuclear power plant design, procurement, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance of project management and other aspects related to the capacity and technology.
