Preliminary images of the area under F. Daiici unit #2 RPV

Tepco has posted a Press handout of the first images of the underside of the Fukushima unit #2 Reactor Pressure Vessel. Japan's Press, and Reuters, say one of the images shows rubble on the work platform below the CRDMs (control rod drive mechanisms), but there is nothing in the Tepco handout to confirm or deny it. It turns out that the "rubble" image is on the platform outside the bottom of the RPV, making the possibility of the lumps actually being re-solidified corium unlikely. Also, an image of CRDMs shows nothing indicating melt-through. IMHO. Here's the link to the handout... http://www.tepco.co.jp/en/nu/fukushima-np/handouts/2017/images/handouts_170130_02-e.pdf
