Bulletin of Atomic Scientists The March for Science

The March for Science
On April 22, 2017, join us for an unprecedented gathering of people standing together to acknowledge and give voice to the critical role that science plays in each of our lives. No matter where you live, there will be a March for Science route nearby (or you can participate digitally via live-stream). Find locations and register (including for the live stream) at the official March for Science website. Letskedaddle is the official transportation provider for the March in North America; you can find rides with them to the various marches here.
The Bulletin will be present at the March for Science Chicago. If you are in Chicago, get information and register at the official March for Science Chicago website. The rally begins at 10 a.m. (CDT), with the March commencing at 11 a.m. For safety purposes, please enter at Congress Parkway and march along the official route.
On Tuesday, April 18th at 6 p.m., listen to a Fireside Chat hosted by the March for Science Chicago with our executive director and publisher Rachel Bronson and new Science and Security Board member Daniel Holz.

And please visit us at the Science Expo, which is happening at the end of the March route at Museum Campus. At the Expo, you can find out about:
    • Research happening in Chicago that directly impacts our community
    • Participating in Citizen Science efforts
    • Volunteering with organizations to directly impact our community
    • How you can help guide science in The Science City

Be sure to read our latest Voices of Tomorrow essay from a young particle physicist about why she's attending the March for Science, and a discussion with Congressman Bill Foster, Congress's sole PhD-trained scientist, about why he will be attending the March for Science DC.

The March for Science is a nonpartisan event, because science is not a partisan issue. We encourage you to stand with us, and be counted.
