A Request from Llewellyn King, White House Chronicle, PBS

Dear Friends,

I'm writing to a few friends who either have decision authority in their companies and organizations or know people in that position.

Here's my pitch: I need a few sponsors for my television program "White House Chronicle."

Sponsorship is not a gift: It offers great publicity and branding value.

We have 200 television stations across America and blanket coverage on SiriusXM Radio. We air worldwide on Voice of America Television and Radio.

Just mentioning the number of stations doesn't tell our value story completely. In Washington, for example,"White House Chronicle" has the pole position in Sunday morning talk shows. In all, we have three PBS airings in Washington and some more on DC Cable.

In Providence, where Linda and I live, the program airs three times on PBS in excellent slots -- in the PBS news lineup on Friday night, repeating on Sunday morning and evening. Many of our stations, and especially those connected with university systems -- including Drake University and Penn State University -- air the program many times a week.

The mission of the program is to examine how politics, business, science and technology impact "the way we live now." If that phrase is familiar, it is the title of Anthony Trollope's novel published in 1875.

The ideal sponsor is one who brings modest money to the table but a great story and a lot of enthusiasm.

Please think about this opportunity and contact me.

All the best always,

Llewellyn
