Can You Hear Me Now?   Congress is hosting several nuclear policy hearings this week, which you can watch on the webcasts linked below.    Tuesday, March 20:  The Senate Committee on Energy & Natural Resources will host Secretary of Energy Rick Perry for a 10:00am hearing to "Examine the President's Budget Request for the Department of Energy for Fiscal Year 2019." The House Committee on Energy & Commerce will hold a 10:15am hearing on the Fiscal Year 2019 Nuclear Regulatory Commission Budget. Wednesday, March 21:  The Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works will hold a 10:00am hearing titled "Oversight of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission." The House Committee on Foreign Relations will hold a 2:00pm hearing on "Implications of a U.S.-Saudi Arabia Nuclear Cooperation Agreement for the Middle East."   Thursday, March 22:  The Senate Committee on Armed Services closes out the week with one last appearance from Secretary Perry at its 10:00am hearing on Challenges in the Department of Energy's Atomic Energy Defense Programs.
