ANS releases new position statement on advanced reactors
As
advanced nuclear technologies continue to gain support and recognition,
demonstrated with the passage of the Nuclear Energy Innovation
Capabilities Act (S 97), the American Nuclear Society has released a new
position statement on advanced reactors. The statement supports the
development and deployment of advanced reactors due to their importance
to the sustainability, reliability, and security of the world's
long-term energy supply.
