NRC hosting open house on Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant performance | WLUK: TWO RIVERS (WLUK) -- A public open house will discuss the performance of a Manitowoc County nuclear plant. The Nuclear Regulatory Commission Staff will talk about the safety performance of the Point Beach Nuclear Power Plant on April 3. The open house is set from 6-7 p. m. at the Lester Public Library, 1001 Adams St. in Two Rivers. NRC employees responsible for plant inspections will be available to answer the public's questions. In 2018, staff reports the plant operated safely.
