Today
the NRC announced that it would be cancelling next week's annual
Regulatory Information Conference (RIC). See the official announcement
below:
"The
Nuclear Regulatory Commission is announcing the cancellation of the
Regulatory Information Conference (RIC) scheduled for March 10-12, 2020,
due to circumstances surrounding the Novel Coronavirus, COVID-19. We
regret the inconvenience to those who were planning to attend. In
recent days, a number of organizations and presenters have changed their
attendance plans, with indications that others will reach similar
decisions in the coming days. Again, we regret any inconvenience
and look forward to holding the RIC next year, in 2021".
