Russia’s Tvel Delivers Fuel Batch For Budapest Research Reactor :: The Independent Global Nuclear News Agency: Russia’s nuclear fuel company Tvel has supplied a batch of nuclear fuel for the Budapest research reactor, operated by the Centre for Energy Research of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.



Tvel said the delivery was part of a contract signed in 2019 with the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and will cover the fuel needs of the research reactor for the next several years.



The company said the supplied batch of VVR-M2 fuel assemblies was manufactured by its Novosibirsk Chemical Concentrates Plant subsidiary.
