Bountiful, Beaver join other Utah cities bowing out of nuclear power project - Deseret News: Bountiful and Beaver cities have become the latest to drop out of any additional investment in a planned small modular reactor nuclear power plant near Idaho Falls. Cities and districts that belong to the Utah Associated Municipal Power Systems have until Saturday to use the "off-ramp" to leave the project. Some two dozen members remain in the project.
