Utility invests USD10 million in advanced reactor feasibility study : Corporate - World Nuclear News: Puget Sound Energy - the oldest and largest utility in Washington State - is contributing USD10 million towards the feasibility stage of Energy Northwest's programme to develop and deploy a next-generation nuclear energy facility. Energy Northwest has already determined that X-energy's Xe-100 advanced small modular reactor is the most suitable design to meet the region's specific needs.
