Longtime critics are giving their support to nuclear energy
Nuclear energy is slowly gaining support from some longtime critics including Reps. Edward Markey, D-Mass., and John Hall, D-N.Y. Markey, who has been an decades-long opponent of the industry, said he could be convinced to support nuclear power if it gets the Senate to approve the climate-change bill.
