Westinghouse stands by safety of AP 1000 reactor design
Westinghouse spokesman Vaughn Gilbert is rebutting safety claims regarding the Westinghouse AP 1000 reactor design, stating that leaks are highly improbable, as the new reactors have far thicker walls.
