The nuclear-power industry is pinning its hopes for a comeback on miniature, underground reactors, according to Der Spiegel. Supporters hope these compact plants can sidestep construction delays, regulatory roadblocks and financing problems that have plagued mammoth, gigawatt-capacity facilities.
