Yucca ruling earns support of Idaho lawmakers
Idaho lawmakers welcomed a ruling that rejected the Energy Department's request to terminate the application for the Yucca Mountain nuclear-waste project. Rep. Mike Sampson, R-Idaho, said Energy Secretary Steven Chu could not abandon the application because Congress picked and approved the site. Sen.
