US nuclear regulator says split on Yucca waste dump

WASHINGTON, Sept 9 (Reuters) - The U.S. nuclear regulator on Friday said it "finds itself evenly divided" on the contentious issue of what to do with its work on licensing the proposed Yucca Mountain waste dump.
