NEI Will Host Press Briefing on Monday
To Assess Energy Policy, Safety Enhancements
WASHINGTON,
D.C.—The
Nuclear Energy Institute on Monday will host an on-the-record press briefing to
discuss U.S. energy policy and to provide the latest update on post-Fukushima
safety enhancements being implemented at U.S. nuclear energy facilities.
Two
members of NEI's leadership team will offer insights on the nation's energy
future heading into the final weeks of the 2012 federal elections and provide
details on efforts under way to better protect U.S. facilities against severe
events, regardless of their cause.
