China and Argentina plan to Jointly Built NPP `
Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with
Argentine President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner in Buenos Aires,
Argentina, July 18, 2014, agreed here to upgrade bilateral ties to a
comprehensive strategic partnership.
During the visit, both nations signed an agreement on jointly constructing nuclear power plants in Argentina as well as collaborative documents in other fields.
The visit has served to improve strategic ties between the two nations, with China agreeing to invest in important infrastructure work in the South American country, while raising the importance of ties there.
