In Case You Missed It - America's Energy Landscape: A Policy Discussion on Nuclear Energy

On Friday, October 24, Nuclear Matters partnered with The Hill to host a policy discussion about the state of our energy landscape and how nuclear energy plants play a vital role in our electricity portfolio. Dr. Peter Lyons, Assistant Secretary for Nuclear Energy for U.S. Department of Energy, delivered a keynote address followed by a panel discussion featuring our diverse coalition of former policymakers, environmentalists, labor leaders and business advocates:

  * Carol Browner, Former EPA Administrator
  * Sean McGarvey, President of the North American Building Trades Unions
  * Gene Barr, President and CEO of the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry
