CA lawmakers won’t set PG&E rates amid utility hike concerns | Modesto Bee: California lawmakers won’t take control of PG&E rates. They tabled a proposal by Senator Jerry Hill that would have given the Legislature power over utility fees. The CPUC retains that authority.
