Shine to use 'novel' method for lutetium production - World Nuclear News: US company Shine Medical Technologies Inc is to produce the medical radioisotope lutetium-177 using a novel method for separating rare earth elements under an exclusive licence from the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences, where the technique was developed.
