FEMA defends its request for $4 billion of PG&E’s $13.5 billion settlement with wildfire victims: FEMA officials said the agency is required by law to ask PG&E to repay the federal disaster agency for its cleanup work after recent wildfires, spurring outrage from some wildfire survivors.
