Zoom Presentation: John Droz Critically Thinking About Climate Change

Friends:

Last reminder: my online (Zoom) slide presentation (Critically Thinking About Climate Change) is Thursday, 4 PM EST.

It’s free, and should last for about an hour — including my answering questions from online attendees.

FYI, this will not be a standard climate change talk, as I’m going to try out an argument that (to my knowledge) has never been used anywhere else on the planet.

To signup, go here. Remember openings are limited, so first-come first-served.
My presentation will be video recorded, and should subsequently be available at the ABC website
Let me know any questions.
regards,

Friends:

The Chautauqua Institution is quite an elaborate, high-class place in Western NY (south of Buffalo). This is part of a residential community, and the town just won a Best U.S. Small Town Culture award.

Every Summer the Institution has quite a few speakers on various trendy topics. Unfortunately (but as is in vogue these days), a good number of these talks are from a Left-leaning perspective.

This year of course (due to COVID-19), everything is discombobulated.
Instead of the Chautauqua talks being on-site, they will be online instead.

Within the Institution there are 300± members (who call themselves ABC: Advocates for Balance at Chautauqua) who have sponsored additional speakers when they feel an alternative view is necessary.

I’ve been privileged to be asked by the ABC group to speak on Climate Change.

My online talk title is: Critically Thinking About Climate Change
It will be Thursday, August 6th, at 4 PM (EST), for about an hour. I’ll take questions at the end.

The official announcement just came out: and it includes several other good speakers that you might want to sign up to see and hear online, via a Zoom meeting. (Note: you need the free Zoom client software.)
Note that even though these are online, only a limited number of live attendees are accepted. I’m expecting that all the talks will be recorded, and will likely be at the ABC website.
Let me know any questions.
