Graham, DeMint push for reprocessing at Savannah River Site
The Blue Ribbon Panel on America's Nuclear Future should consider utilizing the Savannah River Site in South Carolina to reprocess used nuclear fuel, according to the state's Republican senators, Lindsey Graham and Jim DeMint. "I'm very willing for the Savannah River Site to be the research and the development facility for the nation to make that idea a reality," said Graham. "The goal of reprocessing and recycling is to reduce your storage footprint, right?"
