Taiwan watchdog official wants nuclear plant construction halted

TAIPEI (Kyodo) -- A senior official of Taiwan's supervisory body for nuclear power called Friday for suspending construction of the problem-plagued No. 4 nuclear power station, saying the constructor and operator of the facility is not capable of building the plant.
