Waste Control Specialists Granted Permission to Bury Low-level Radioactive Waste in Texas

Low-level radioactive waste from 38 states will likely begin to be buried a West Texas site starting April 1st, the AP reports, ending Dallas-based Waste Control Specialists' years-long effort to gain permission to use the 1,340-acre tract of scrub brush terrain for nuclear disposal.
