Czech
utility CEZ said July 2 it received three bids to supply two new
nuclear reactors at its Temelin station, known as Temelin-3 and -4. The
bids came, as expected, from Westinghouse, Areva and Atomstroyexport.
The
bids will now be evaluated and, after follow up discussions with the
bidders, a contract award and purchase contract for the turnkey reactor
project is expected later this year, the company said.
The key question of
state participation in the estimated €10 to €15 billion project, however, remains outstanding.
