European researchers study tsunami risks at Asian reactors
Twenty-three
nuclear plants in east and southeast Asia could encounter tsunamis,
European researchers said, citing geological, archaeological and
instrumental data. "We are dealing with the first vision of the global
distribution of civil nuclear power plants situated on the coast and
exposed to tsunamis," said Jose Manuel Rodriguez-Llanes, a Belgian
university researcher. United Press Internationalhttp://www.upi.com/Science_News/2012/09/21/Nuke-plant-tsunami-risk-evaluated/UPI-17601348280650/
