Spark Notes, E&W Style Senate Appropriations Committee released bill summaries of the FY 19 Energy & Water appropriations bill from Chairman Richard Shelby (R-AL) and Vice Chairman Patrick Leahy (D-VT). These bill summaries come in advance of tomorrow's full committee markup.   The bill provides $1.2 billion allocated for the Office of Nuclear Energy, the same as the FY 2018 amount and $449 million above the budget request.    DOE also announced on Monday that Deputy Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette will be travelling to Copenhagen, Denmark to participate in the 9th Clean Energy Ministerial. He'll be making the argument that nuclear energy should be classified as clean energy.
