Highly enriched uranium from UK brought to Y-12 for secure storage - Oak Ridge Today: Almost 700 kilograms of highly enriched uranium has been moved from the United Kingdom to the United States, and the material is being securely stored at the Y-12 National Security Complex in Oak Ridge for now, federal officials said.
