Asia Is Driving Growth In Nuclear Generation :: The Independent Global Nuclear News Agency: Asia is driving growth in nuclear power generation with China’s 46 commercially operational nuclear reactors representing about 11% of the world’s nuclear capacity in 2018, a report by the London-based World Nuclear Association said.
According to the report, China connected a record 8.3 GW of new nuclear capacity in 2018 – the second largest annual increase achieved by any country since the advent of civil nuclear power.
