NPCIL to launch 16 nuclear plants

Chennai: An atomic power operator official said that the Nuclear Power
Corporation of India Ltd (NPCIL) is set to launch 16 reactors with an
investment of INR 2.3 trillion ($ 40 billion) during its 12th plan
period between 2012-2017.
