NRC plans to complete new nuclear plant safety rules in August
The
Nuclear Regulatory Commission seeks to finalize additional nuclear
plant safety guidelines in August. The agency drafted new rules to
guarantee the proper issuance of three post-Fukushima Daiichi safety
orders. "Public comments on the draft interim staff guidance (ISG) will
help the NRC ensure the guidance is as complete as possible," the NRC
