Feds ask Westinghouse to provide more data on reactor design
Westinghouse Electric needs to file more detailed input on how the structure designed to house its AP1000 nuclear reactors could withstand calamities before they are approved for a facility in Georgia, federal regulators said. "We need to see that information before we can conduct a complete review of the AP1000 as Westinghouse is describing it," Nuclear Regulatory Commission spokesman Scott Burnell said.
