Exec: South African firms should get bulk of nuclear contracts
South
African firms should get the larger share of the contracts in a $50
billion proposal to construct six new nuclear facilities in the country,
said Brian Dames, CEO of Eskom. For years, companies from the U.S.,
France, Japan, Russia and elsewhere have been targeting the contract,
which is considered one of the world's largest for nuclear energy. "This
is a key objective for us," Dames said. Reuters
