- Energy Northwest to secure license extension for Wash. plant
Energy Northwest will hold an event at its Columbia Generating Station in Washington state to mark the extension of the facility's operating license. The company expects the Nuclear Regulatory Commission this week to give formal approval of the extension, which will allow the plant to operate until 2043.
